Any chance to autostart this on ubuntu with the same url (shared secret etc.)?

If you use snap on ubuntu you can set the startup applications like this: /snap/remote-touchpad/current/bin/remote-touchpad --bind=192.168.1.35:33333 --secret=33333

If you do --help with the binary it will give you all the options.

At least for gnome, this still requires checking "Allow remote interaction" and clicking "Accept" on the machine that is being controlled, which IMO limits how useful this suggestion is. I've filed a feature request against gnome here in order be able to achieve a completely automated setup on gnome.
