From 387d63ebf3aafcc3df6d64d71301649a4eac739d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "George G. Vega Yon" Date: Thu, 6 Aug 2026 01:02:44 -0600 Subject: [PATCH] docs: make citation guidance unmissable and fix CITATION metadata - `Year = ` (capital Y) is not a `bibentry` field and was being ignored; now `year`. - Removed a duplicated `archivePrefix` argument. - The package entry rendered `(????)` (reads `meta$Date`, no `Date:` in DESCRIPTION). Adds a How to cite note to the README, vignettes and ?defm, plus a startup message, and adds the CRAN DOI.
