I tried cat control this evening but I got an error:

My settings look correct, perhaps there was some update in hamlib that isn't in the ADX firmware yet.

Use KENWOOD TS-440S or KENWOOD TS-140S instead of TS-2000. There is an error in hamlib for TS-2000.
