How to use this library?

I'm interested in using the DLP with python. I'm glad to find this code you've written on github. If you could provide me with some idea about how I may use this library, I'd be very thankful!

as you probably found on technical docs, you will need a specific initialization sequence, like this:

def init_dlp(self):
        self.dlp = dlpc350.DLPC350(debug=0, dryrun=0)     # DLPC350 object gets instantiated
        if self.dlp.connectDLP():         # connection
            self.dlp.getStatus()             # getStatus reports controller status
            self.dlp.getDisplayMode()    
            self.dlp.setPatternInputSource(source=3)  # Input source: flash
            self.dlp.configureGPIO(pin=11, state=0)  # GPIO  11 as output (if required)
            self.dlp.getStatus()
            return 1
        return 0

After this step, In my setup I had a thread waiting for an external start condition; once the latter has been received, it started dlp operation:

As this was my graduation project, I'm not working on it anymore. However, it worked quite well at the time.
