ImmersiveUX window failing to render properly

I just downloaded the latest release of ImmersiveUX, as I was previously using Windhawk translucent windows to make windows transparent but was having some issues with that and removed it. However, when I open the ImmersiveUX window, this is all that shows up:

the window seems to be transparent, as when I move it around it always shows a blurred version of my background. I'm using Windows 11. Another very strange thing happening is when I go to take a screenshot/screen recording of it, suddenly it renders better, but only for the screenshot (when done taking the screenshot, it goes back to having no text). Any idea how to fix this? here is a screen recording of it:

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue along with the videos. I appreciate it.

First of all, sorry that this is happening on your first experience with ImmersiveUX. Not a good first impression, that's for sure. The ImmersiveUX engine itself is powerful, flexible and does quite a lot more in comparison to MicaForEveryone. But without the GUI working that would certainly kill the experience, no doubt.

I've been thinking about this and digging into it since you first posted the issue. I personally have never seen anything like this and therefore I'm not sure what the source of the issue is. It is especially weird how all controls are invisible and the only thing showing is the two slider/trackbar controls. Even the menu is not showing.

In your display settings for Windows (Settings app - Display - HDR) do you have HDR enabled?

It kind of reminds me of that longstanding issue between HDR and Mica materials (combined with DwmExtendFrameIntoClientArea).

Regardless, I definitely need to rework the GUI some more.

If I put together some test builds, would you be willing to test to see if this issue still persists?
