In order to increase the visibility and reach of the tips for creating more sustainable WordPress events contained in our section of the Sustainable Events Handbook, we propose the introduction of a section with these suggestions in the First Steps section of the WordCamp Organizer Handbook, similar to the accessibility and diversity sections.
To this end, we have created a document that contains the suggestions from our handbook in this document almost in their original versions (there has been made very few changes):

We invite everyone interested in reviewing the content of this document and adding corrections or comments to send the final version to the Community team no later than in two weeks (deadline, December 20, 2024) for publication.
