The current master version of the menu was not very thought out and everything is intertwined with each other. The problem with this is that every new thing that gets added breaks something else.

A full rewrite if the menu is needed to solve the issue the current master version has. The 2.0 version will be more tought out and planned to avoid the scope creep the current master veresion is plagued by.
