Goal
Give EnvCompass a recognizable Compass Atelier visual identity while preserving the v0.1 read-only diagnosis workflow and deterministic evidence.
Scope
- Original compass / deviation / waypoint emblem and small brand icon motif
- Centralized Light/Dark visual tokens and typography foundations
- Results-first hierarchy with the primary finding, runtime comparison, evidence, and next step visible at the default window size
- Reduced card wall and compact diagnosis summary
- Calibration-route scanning presentation
- Restrained Home, toolbar, sharing, and technical-details refinements
- Responsive validation from the 820 px minimum through wide desktop windows
- zh-CN / en-US, keyboard focus, non-color severity, reduced motion, and realistic DPI checks
Non-goals
- Mascot or character artwork
- New diagnosis domains (including Conda-aware behavior, YOLO, PyTorch, CUDA)
- Auto repair, built-in AI, cloud, MCP, plugins, or telemetry
- Changes to diagnosis logic, sanitizer contracts, bounded scanning, or read-only behavior
Acceptance criteria
- The default 1040 × 760 results view exposes the overall diagnosis, primary finding, current vs required runtime, evidence, and next step without scrolling for the representative mismatch fixture
- The primary finding is visually distinctive through a deviation/calibration language and never relies on color alone
- Light and Dark themes share a coherent token architecture
- Home, scanning, healthy, mismatch, metadata-light, unknown, and expanded technical states are exercised in a real launched UI
- 820, 1040, 1440, and wide layouts do not overflow and use space intentionally
- Existing frontend/core tests and real builds remain green
- Draft PR includes representative results screenshots and a truthful validation summary
