All items are now broken down into 3 components. These components are its Active, its Passive and its Statistics.
Components have levels associated with them. Higher level components have better values on their attributes.
Components can be improved in the following ways: Tempering, Forging and Welding.
Tempering a components improves one of its base values randomly, such as increasing the strength bonus of its Statistics, or increasing the base damage of its Active.
Forging a component lets you add to the item. For example, adding bonus strength to its Statistic Component or adding an area of effect to its Active.
Welding components lets you scrap one item and replace the component of another item with the scrapped items component. This replaces the component entirely, including any Tempering or Forging done prior.
Items have rarities associated with them. Higher rarity items have higher level components ands and can start out Tempered and Forged.
Not every item has an Active, Passive and Statistics component. For example, Butterfly only has Statistics.
Active Components
Dispel: Dispels a targeted unit. Base cooldown of 20 seconds.
Augment Passive: Improves passive component temporarily. Base cooldown of 20 seconds.
Transfer Passive: Grant passive component temporarily to an allied unit. Base cooldown of 13 seconds.
Blink: Blink. Base cooldown of 15 seconds.
Push: Pushes a targeted unit forward. Base cooldown of 15 seconds.
Berserk: Grants increased attack speed, but Silences. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Sacrifice: Consumes a percentage of your current health and provides mana. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Disarm: Disarm enemy unit. Base cooldown of 18 seconds.
Silence: Silence enemy unit. Base cooldown of 18 seconds.
Break: Break enemy unit. Base cooldown of 18 seconds.
Ethereal: Turn targeted unit Ethereal. Base cooldown of 18 seconds.
Paralyze: Paralyze enemy unit. Base cooldown of 18 seconds.
Root: Root enemy unit. Base cooldown of 18 seconds.
Stun: Stun enemy unit. Base cooldown of 24 seconds.
Burst Damage: Deals damage to enemy unit. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Damage over Time: Deals damage to enemy unit over time. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Burst Heal: Heals allied unit. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Heal over Time: Heals allied unit over time. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Motivate: Grants bonus attack speed and movement speed to target ally. Base cooldown of 12 seconds.
Refresh: Refreshes all Spells. Base cooldown of 180 seconds.
Barrier: Grants target unit Barrier. Base cooldown of 24 seconds.
Illusions: Create an illusion. Base cooldown of 24 seconds.
Passive Components
Chain Lightning: Procs bouncing Lightning on attack.
Pierce: Procs True-Strike with bonus Pure damage on attack.
