Maximizing videos causes them to lose their thumbnails.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...' Enter a video (without autoplay) that starts with a fade from black with the Automatically Maximize video setting.
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

Expected behavior

Show the videos' thumbnails over the maximized player.
