Summary
Updated the layered Codex guidance in place. No new nested AGENTS.md files were created because the existing root, frontend, and backend-go layers cover the meaningful work surfaces without extra duplication.

Changes

• AGENTS.md: tightened repo-wide source-of-truth, task, deployment, and subproject descriptions.
• frontend/AGENTS.md: added stale README script caveat and refined the PUBLIC_API_URL rule to account for existing hardcoded URLs.
• backend-go/AGENTS.md: added deployment asset notes, Zap logging guidance, and the port-default caveat from config/config.go vs Taskfile.yml.

Skipped nested files for .github/workflows, frontend/eslint-plugin-local, and backend leaf directories like workers, models, routes, handlers, fansly, and utils because they either lack separate workflows or are already covered by the backend/frontend layer.

No existing rule was removed. One frontend rule was materially tightened because inspection found an existing hardcoded localhost backend URL, so the guidance now says not to add hardcoded hosts and to migrate touched ones.

Verification

• Reread all modified AGENTS.md files.
• Verified each file starts with <agents_md> and ends with </agents_md>.
• Verified referenced paths exist.
• Verified frontend scripts in frontend/package.json.
• Verified Taskfile tasks, Go version in go.mod, backend port default, and deployment workflow references.
• Ran git diff --check -- AGENTS.md frontend/AGENTS.md backend-go/AGENTS.md.
• Enabled Corepack pnpm and confirmed pnpm --version; pnpm emitted a warning that the current package.json pnpm.onlyBuiltDependencies field is ignored by pnpm 11.

Risks/Blockers
I did not run frontend/backend app static checks because the changes are AGENTS documentation-only, and pnpm format would rewrite files outside the requested AGENTS scope.

Next logical follow-up: do you want the stale frontend README deployment commands and the hardcoded localhost:3000 API request fixed now that they surfaced during this pass?
