Palazzi et al. produced a model of a short duration Gaussian puff release which is similar to the IntPuff model when N->Inf. The Palazzi model is used in several screening/regulatory models and is an obvious extension.
There are variations on what dispersion parameters to use at which stage of the release, which adds some complications to how this is implemented.
