The latest unstable/dev GIMP_AppImage-git-2.99.3-20201105-x86_64.AppImage just close/shutdown when I do File/New... Systematically (can be reproduced each time)
Putting back the GIMP_AppImage-git-2.99.3-20201029-x86_64.AppImage resolved the problem
Also i don't have the name on the sliders (see screen shot)
