Question: broker.connect() returns None inside TestRabbitBroker

When I call broker.connect() inside a TestRabbitBroker context, it returns None:

async def test_example():
    async with TestRabbitBroker(broker):
        conn = await broker.connect()  # Returns None

I need the connection to check queue message counts and perform direct AMQP operations in tests.
Is this expected? If so, what's the recommended way to access the connection in tests?

Yes, but I wouldn't want to use my real broker. For example, CI testing is a much more complex implementation that way.

If you don't use real connection, you can't rcv connection from method

Pls, describe your task in more details. Perhaps you're approaching testing incorrectly. Tell me what exactly you want to test and why.

Btw CI testing with real RabbitMQ it's easy for gitlab and github
