It's unclear what versions of the git and svn packages are supported.

I'm running version 1.7.2 of pysvn, and I can't tell if it's broken because it's broken or because pyvcs only officially supports up through version 1.6 or something. It would be useful to state the dependency explicitly, both in the README and in setup.py.
