add pattern match function

It would be nice to see abstract the match function in the functional.try_ to be a more generic match function to work on every type or even do full blown pattern matching.

That would be nice indeed! Have you seen cond. If you're thinking a bit different, how would you envision a generic match?

I was thinking that something along the lines of

    int var = 3;
    var.match!(
        (int x) => writeln("match by type int"),
        (string x) => writeln("match by type string"),
        3, (x) => writeln("match by value"),
        iota(4, 10), (x) => writeln("match by range"),
        (x) => variable("match everything")
);

Ah I see. Yep that sounds like it may be possible. Will see what I can come up with!
