Contributor roadmap: Windows Ring 0/3 telemetry and integration work

This repository accepts focused engineering contributions to the Windows kernel telemetry driver, user-mode collector, shared IOCTL protocol, portable core, validation tooling, and integration documentation.

Contribution path

1. Select an issue or propose a bounded technical change.
2. Fork the repository, or use a feature branch when repository write access has been granted.
3. Push the branch and open a pull request against main.
4. Pass the Windows x64, Windows Win32, and sanitizer checks.
5. Address code-owner review. The repository owner is the only account permitted to update main.
6. GitHub adds the commit author to Contributors after the commit is merged into main.

Current entry tasks

• #1 — add a version-reporting command
• #2 — add CMake presets for x64 and Win32
• #3 — add pinned WDK build and INF validation

The complete engineering sequence is maintained in ROADMAP.md. Submission and validation requirements are defined in CONTRIBUTING.md.

Security boundary

Contributions must preserve the telemetry-only model. The project does not accept arbitrary kernel-memory access, code patching, kernel hooks, process hiding, kernel enforcement, or signing credentials. Review SECURITY.md before changing driver callbacks, IOCTL handling, event structures, privileges, or target-memory access.
