HAL for ESP32

Hi, is there any chance to get an HAL implementation for an ESP32?

I tried to implement it myself, but I'm not experienced with HALs and also not with the close to the hardware code on ESP as I mostly use arduino code.

I just discovered the Arduino Library. But for some reason it does not complie. For example I get this error:

The respective code snippet is:

But if I check the function hal_bmlite_spi_write_read in the header, I find:

Of course this does not compile ... or is this a new C feature I don't understand?
Was the livrary ever compiling fine?

Also on my journey I tried to compile and run the code on a raspberry pi make APP=console_app PLATFORM=RaspberryPi DEBUG=y, also without success. After removing -Werror (as there are some type mismatching comparisons) I'm stuck with this error:

/usr/bin/ld: /home/pi/BM-Lite/BMLite_examples/../HAL_Driver/RaspberryPi/src/platform_rpi.c:93: undefined reference to `platform_bmlite_uart_send'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Any hints appreciated!
