Bears
Bears live in the bear woods. They almost never live in towns and don't socialize with each other much either, though they do hold a council in secret. Bears typically live nomadically, carrying nothing with them and are uninterested in paychecks. They can sometimes be enticed to help with the offer of fairy honey, which is the only thing they value other than life's necessities. They gather food on a subsistence basis, but would probably catch and eat a fish if they could. Their obsession with fairy honey has lead to some wild legends regarding the Fairies and their honey.
Bears are usually quite large and strong, making them capable of things that other creatures typically are not, such as withstanding some of the smaller hits during a shooting star shower. Many bears noticed the demand for them to tote the larger shooting stars and began to stash them away in an unknown location after, or even during shooting star showers. You might stop one on his way to wherever they go and convince them to give it up, but normally these large chunks of shooting star material are never seen again. The bears started doing this to eventually train the folk of Town World to stop asking them to carry large things around.
