Lizard Folk

The underground lizard folk of Underground-town migrated there over time. at first they were burrowing near the surface for protection from climate and predators, They begain to follow geothermal heat sources and dig deeper. Heat transport and other remote heating technology allowed cold-blooded creatures to live entirely underground. Some are highly adapted to artificial light and they need sun-protection. Almost all Lizard Folk need cooling devices (See Neck-Cooler) on the surface. Most never go. Lizard Folk retained and developed more Earth technology than the "trinkets"of the surface dwellers. Breedvolution thrived and developed, both technically and ethically. It allowed for many advances and surprising variations, such as lizard folk with a wheel.
