Superspace

Beyond normal space lies superspace, the exact definition of which is debated, and within that, lies Town World It's so impossible to travel between space and superspace that if you actually managed to do it, no particular destination on the other "side" would be more difficult to reach. In other words, from somewhere like Town World, it's equally impossible to get to Earth, Earth's moon, the center of Earth's sun, Alpha Centauri, the center of the Milky Way, somewhere in the Horsehead Nebula...and vice versa.
