Cannot get typescript files working

I have tried to use this library installed via homebrew on an intel macbookpro running Monterey, but it still refuses to quickpreview .ts files.

1. open ~/Library/QuickLook/QLColorCode.qlgenerator/Contents/Info.plist
2. Added public.mpeg-2-transport-stream to the list
3. Tried qlmanage -r from the command line

Still not showing a preview

What am I missing here?

Following steps from https://gregbrown.co/code/typescript-quicklook did not help

Note TS files reported as:

kMDItemContentType = "public.mpeg-2-transport-stream"
