By installing this application, you understand that when this service sends outbound events to AWS, it transmits your data to any region in the AWS commercial partition. After initial reception, your data will be routed to your configured region via cross-region transit for further processing by the service. 2. Connect GitHub Repositories

In the AWS Console, install AWS Security Agent for your GitHub organization and connect repositories to your agent space. Connected repositories serve multiple purposes:

• Enable automated code review to validate pull requests against your security requirements
• Provide application context for penetration testing by giving the agent access to source code, architecture patterns, and data flows
• Receive automated remediation through pull requests when penetration tests discover vulnerabilities

3. Enable Capabilities

Code Review: Select which connected repositories should have automated pull request analysis enabled.

Automated Remediation: Enable the agent to generate code fixes and submit pull requests when penetration testing discovers vulnerabilities.

Penetration Testing: When running tests in the AWS Security Agent web app, select connected repositories to provide application context. AWS Security Agent analyzes your source code to understand authentication flows and data handling, enabling targeted attack scenarios that validate real exploitable risks.

4. Continuous Validation

As developers push commits, AWS Security Agent pull requests for security issues and compliance with your requirments. When penetration tests complete, verified vulnerabilities are documented with reproducible exploit paths and ready-to-implement fixes.
