Adding bottom bar

Hi,

First of all many thanks for creating this amazing framework! I believe it's an excellent way of using the limited space as efficiently as possible.

Anyway, I would like to implement a bottom bar like the SoundCloud iPad app (check it out - it's awesome!). The bottom bar should be visible at all times and not be affected by the panes (but you should be able to have access from those panels).

I'm wondering what would be the best way to go about this. I'd like to do this via an IBuilder document, but I'd like some hints on where to start best. If this works out well, I would create a fork of this :)
