Hello,
Thank you for TreeViewer and the very useful documentation.
I am writing to report a possible issue with the tutorial “Drawing taxon images”.
According to the tutorial, the workflow is:
- attach the image archive (e.g. Fish.zip),
- add the Node images plot action module,
- set the Attachment parameter to the attached archive,
- and the images should then be drawn.
However, in my case, this workflow does not produce any visible result.
To avoid confounding factors, I tested the tutorial using the official Fish.zip example rather than my own image archive. Even in this case:
- the attachment was added successfully,
- Node images was added successfully,
- the Attachment parameter was set to the attached archive,
- but no images were displayed,
- and no warning/error appeared in the status bar.
I also noticed that in the author’s example files, images seem to be handled via Draw image rather than Node images. This makes me suspect that the tutorial may not match the current recommended workflow.
Could you please confirm:
- whether Node images is still the correct module for this tutorial,
- whether an additional undocumented step is required,
- or whether the tutorial should instead refer to Draw image?
Thank you very much for your time.
Best regards
