Description

The existing 3D print files for the enclosure and front plate require revision. The current design needs structural improvements and a more reliable mechanism for holding push buttons.

This issue focuses on redesigning or improving the mechanical components to achieve a more robust and practical construction.

Tasks

  • Review and rebuild the current 3D case design if necessary
  • Improve the front plate layout and mounting structure
  • Optimize internal spacing for PCB, switches, and wiring
  • Redesign the push button holding mechanism
  • Develop a new, more robust button mounting system
  • Ensure reliable alignment between buttons, front plate, and PCB

Design Goals

  • Increased structural stability
  • Improved durability for repeated button usage
  • Easier assembly and maintenance
  • Proper alignment of all mechanical components

Deliverables

  • Updated or rebuilt 3D design files
  • Printable STL files
  • Optional editable source files (e.g. CAD format)
  • Verified fit with the current PCB and components
