I reviewed the current UI and I would like to improve the overall visual consistency and user experience of the website. My planned approach is:

• Improve spacing, padding, and alignment for a cleaner layout
• Enhance the color palette and contrast to make the UI more modern and readable
• Add smooth hover transitions and subtle animations for interactive elements
• Improve button and card styling (rounded corners, shadows, better hierarchy)
• Make the navbar and sections visually more balanced and responsive
• Refine typography and section spacing for better readability
• Ensure the UI remains lightweight and responsive across devices

Before starting, I will first discuss any major visual changes with the maintainers to avoid unnecessary modifications.

To start the discussion, my initial suggestions are:

1. Improve spacing and alignment between sections for a cleaner layout
2. Enhance button and card styling with better hover effects and consistency
3. Refine the color palette to improve readability and visual appeal
4. Add subtle animations/transitions for smoother interaction
5. Improve responsiveness for smaller screens

I will not make any direct changes without your approval.

its better to start with 3 because we are thinking that our colour theme is a bit odd.do you have any suggestions?

Hey @ashish-066, I checked the current UI. The dark background is good but I have these color improvement suggestions:
Option 1 — Blue/Cyan accent theme:

Replace the orange/gold accents with a blue-cyan (#00C2FF) for a more modern dev-tool feel
Keep the dark background but make it slightly lighter (#1a1f2e instead of pure dark)

Option 2 — Purple/Violet accent theme:

Use purple (#7C3AED) as primary accent — very popular in DSA/dev tools (similar to Vercel, Linear)
Pairs well with the existing dark background

Option 3 — Keep orange but refine it:

The orange is unique but inconsistent across the page
Standardize it to one shade like #F97316 everywhere for consistency

My personal suggestion is Option 2 (purple theme) as it feels more premium and modern for a DSA tracker.
Which direction do you prefer? I won't touch any code until you confirm. 🙏

we do have a purple theme before but it is too vibrant so we shifted to this and still we will a bit odd with this theme. your blue suggestion wont go with the website idea i mean it doesnt attract much users
