YouTube does not work

For some reason, youtube does not work. This is running in a proxmox LXC container with Debian 12. I had to grab the latest yt-dlp manually as the one in the repository is from 2023 and its broken with 403 forbidden.

Once I got that installed, I get weird read-only filesystem errors in the systemctl status. Not sure how to fix this or where to start to figure out where the problem is. Attached a screenshot.

Try run yt-dlp manually, may be with --verbose option. If it does not work, then there may be few reasons:

1. Read only filesystem used by Yt-Dlp. Really true. Or no enough disk space, or other write problems.
2. A new YouTube change that preventing Yt-Dlp from work. (Currently I am not able to test this due to Google's problems with law in my country and difficulty to open YouTube at all except via browser, so Yt-Dlp is working with everything but YouTube).

Continuing investigation. Installed a system-wide VPN service, now YouTube is accessible. And even with latest Yt-Dlp it produces these 403 errors. The latest yt-dlp answers why.

It is need to install an separate JS Runtime to solve the problem. https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/wiki/EJS . But this will need some patch of WebOne to enable passing --js-runtimes argument to Yt-Dlp. I'll do this in soon.

Update: Debian Bookworm & Trixie have outdated version of Yt-Dlp in repos. Also Debian Sid (where it is actual) does not provide Deno. Same is in Ubuntu (only 26.04 contains latest version, and even it does not provide Deno). So it is need to install Node.js or QuickJS, and set up Yt-Dlp to use them instead of default Deno. And the latest Yt-Dlp is required for YouTube, not a version from repositories.
