We have a way to retrieve all the videos from youtube, but the metadata is a jumbled mess. Almost none of the videos have tags or complete descriptions.
To do the automatic grouping the new site design needs means the videos need to be tagged consistently. Example: php-meetup, python-meetup, sxsw, sxsw-2013
We'll then be able to group videos together automatically by topic.
Descriptions would help with searching on a topic, technology, or person in the videos.
Working through the back-log of videos is a big job. It means re-watching all of them.
Start with the most watched videos and go from there.
I'm also offering to help with that but wanted to put it to the group to come up with the tags and a consistent description format.
