Option to buff the knife in RE2

I would like an option to buff the RE2 knife's damage against zombies to 10 to bring its attack power in line with RE1 and RE3, letting it kill zombies in 5-13 hits instead of anywhere between 20 and 40. To compare this to RE1 and 3 zombies, they take 3-13 and 4-14 strikes according to the strategy guide.
