From 87834d468700d35f47db3e4aec62871d2b668f57 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Miguel Casal Date: Thu, 3 Sep 2026 22:09:43 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] ci: verify the pinned toolchain instead of installing it The pool runners are permanent: Node.js versions live in one shared tool cache and npm 11.17.0 is baked into the organization Node, so a job checks the pin and fails loudly on a provisioning defect instead of reinstalling npm on every run. setup-node keeps only the version selection; its cache upload is dropped because the host npm cache is shared.
