Leds with AfterGlow board 3.0 and 3.03 firmware

-Brightness is set to 7, which is the maximum I can get with the board, and it's too dark.
if I remove the Afterglow board, the leds light up twice as much. (leds are 4smd high quality)

On my Medieval or Attack from mars in Attract Mode , the blinking works perfectly but not in the game, the LED should be flashing but it is not and remains permanently lit.
i can reduce Glow intensity with the software but it's not good

If i compare with OCD , all of my leds is working fine by default

Is the AfM recording from attract mode only? Or should I see the in-game issue?

It s only in the game for flashing
attract mode or game for brightness intensity is not very high

The AfM replay looks nice and bright on my test matrix. But it's of course hard to tell without comparison. Have you tried reverting your configuration to default, just to be sure it's not a messed up configuration?

I have tested the board in a Medieval Madness game today and couldn't spot any obvious issues.

With different boards and different pinballs i have this problem.
Which leds did you use? Mine are probably anti ghosting but as i said the same leds on my Lotr and OCD board works fine by default

I don't know what LEDs are in that MM, it wasn't mine. I have tried the board with many different LEDs though, and while you can see some differences in the glow behavior, it's not that big.

Other things to try:

• How is the brightness in pass-through mode (DIP switch 4 on)?
• Supply +18V directly instead taking it from the columns

I use the +18V directly from the driver board at TP102 (WPC95) , I've never tried it from the columns.
I'll test DIP4 later

if i only open DIP4 , it's much better for brightness intensity and flashing when I play
What is the difference with DIP4 ?
