Hi, the content type of the calendar is not a valid mime type (RFC 2045), it should be text/calendar, not -Text/calendar (capital letter not relevant, only -).

@ytsch Is downloading the ics file in a browser and then importing it as a file in ICSx⁵ an option for you? You won't get updates for the resource anymore then but it would circumvent the issue that the server sends a malformatted mimetype.

In any case it would be good to report this to your schools IT administration which should then complain at https://help.mba.zh.ch/kontakt.html You could send them a link to this github discussion.

Thank you for your answers and help. I don't know what a valid Mime Type is. But I will report it to the IT-Team. Maybe they understand the problem.
I don't want to import the file, because I don't get updates automaticly.
Why does have thunderbird no problem with this Format?

Great. Thunderbird may just be more lenient in adhering to the standard.

Good evening,
I also have the problem with the bad content error. Downloading would work, but is not practical as dates change regularly and then I miss placing the waste bin by the street :-(.

I see. "charset=utf-8" alone is not a valid mime type either. There are many malconfigured servers out there. I guess ICSx⁵ needs to be less strict.

You too, could try to get in contact with the "Webadministration" at AWSH: https://www.awsh.de/impressum/ and explain/complain about the issue, so that they are aware and might fix it in the future.

We will make ICSx⁵ handle mime types more lenient too though. In the meantime you could download the ICS file using a browser and add the file via ICSx⁵.

For the special case of AWSH i created a proxy, that fixes the wrong header. So if you @chrisk702 would be interested, i could do the same for you, until there is a new version that is more ignorant of broken webservers. Feel free to contact me if you want that.
