Is it possible to use Companion to control my HyperDeck Plus to recreate this Protocol syntax- Play:single clip:true. Basically, I don't want to have to use terminal every time I want to play a clip and then stop. Can this be done or is it even an option? Thanks.

The Play action in Hyperdeck module v2.3.0 provides selection boxes for Loop Clip and for Single Clip Playback. Unfortunately it does not support variables for these two options (only for Speed %). So you could to create separate Play buttons for Play All and for Play Single Clip
