Describe the feature
There is currently no ability to select USB drives or Network drives in the dropdown menu of "hyperdeck: Select slot or format".
The current Hyperdeck models support external drives via the USB-C port and Network attached storage via the ethernet port.
Usecases
Using the external drive port allows for lower cost, higher capacity USB storage to be used. Network attached drives would allow media to be recorded and played back from Blackmagic Cloud and other
network access storage via Ethernet.
