feature request : poll the server for info about hosts

Hi
I have a feature request for this project
Right now it only has control commands, and no way to check the nagios server for any data.
Could it be added ? For my purposes it would suffice to bring all the critical unhandled errors, or return some value when none are present.
I'd like to make a warning system using Raspberry PI and a LED light to show me wheter I need to do something or not, SMS does not always work and there are times when I don't check the e-mail

Hi!

I think data querying would be an excellent feature!

Unfortunately in the very near term I don't have the cycles to implement such a thing, but I would be delighted to merge in any pull requests.

If I do get a chance to frame something like this out, I will make sure to update this issue.
