Welcome to Tome Discussions

[bndct-devops]

This is the place for everything that isn't a bug report or a concrete feature request. Those still go to Issues.

Where things go

You want to...	Go to
Report a bug	Issues
Request a specific feature	Issues
Ask how to set something up	Discussions > Q&A
Float a rough idea or ask "would this make sense"	Discussions > Ideas
Talk about the iOS app	Discussions > Tome Reader (iOS)
Follow releases and plugin updates	Discussions > Announcements
Anything else	Discussions > General

Not sure where something belongs? Post it in General. Threads can be moved, and a discussion can be turned into an issue (or the other way round) at any time.

Asking for help

It saves a round trip if you include:

• Tome version (Settings > About)
• How you run it (Docker, compose, reverse proxy or not)
• For KOReader questions: device and TomeSync plugin version
• For the iOS app: app version and build number (Settings in the app)

Tome Reader (iOS)

The native app is in public beta on TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/JrHyntNU

If you tried it, I'd like to hear how it went, including "I couldn't connect to my server" or "I opened it once and didn't see the point". That kind of feedback is the most useful right now.

One request

If you know the answer to someone's question, answer it. Tome is maintained by one person, and replies from people running it in different setups are often better than mine.
