Bug: Unchecking "Include elevation contours" doesn't turn off elevation contours

Describe the bug
After elevation contours have been included and an animation has been created, unchecking the "Include elevation contours" box doesn't turn off the contours for subsequent animations. The app has to be quit and restarted to get rid of the contours.
