### Reasons 1. Players could place Stargates at sea level, and ride boats between portals (Like orbital Stargates in SG Atlantas) 2. Allowing horses to pass through the Stargate would justify the 5x5 frame. 3. The Ender Dragon could hypothetically be stolen. 4. Native multi-dimensional transport already supports it (end portals and nether portals) 5. Pets can arrive in style instead of being flung like a rubber band through the world. 6. Moving away from the current system, we could take advantage of the new workflow and ensure elytra remain active while passing through portals.
