project overhaul

Hi, since a lot of issues are open and not close, i suspected development on this project is slowing. Hence, i create a fork with a complete overhaul of the project to be compatible with python3.13. I would like to continue to give you attributions for your project, so i made a notice to your project because your works is great! Unfortunately, i change the license to GPLv3 for my fork. 18 files were updated. 422 new lines. 554 deleted lines. My goal was to only have an up-to-date version working with today tools and give users the possibility to continue using your work. https://github.com/Tiloup9291/stratatools2

Sadly I don't own a 3D printer and have zero knowledge of the field, it was kinda difficult for me to understand the different models, versions of the firmware, what all the material means.

Unfortunately, i change the license to GPLv3 for my fork.

Just be aware that you can't take the work of other people and re-license them under whatever you want. The code that was forked is still licensed under the BSD-3-clause, only your changes are GPLv3 ;)

Also, take a look at the feature/v3 branch of this repo, i think there might be some stuff that could be of interest.

I tested the overhaul with python3.13, a raspberry pi 3b with a 5k resistor and a Stratasys Dimension SST 768. All works :) bus-pirate and others printer are not tested on my side. But the PoC is there so : assumption its working.
