How to link BetterMediaInfo with BatchMkvExtract?

I use AppImage for both, but the BMI we've been waiting for path to BME's bin. Even with --appimage-extract and target directly ~/squashfs-root/usr/bin/BatchMkvExtract file, BMI don't recognize executable...

I haven't tested that on Linux. That might be a bug. If you keep BatchMkvExtract running, BetterMediaInfo is supposed to detect the path if you click the detect button. Does that work?

BMI can detect already opened BME instance binaries (/tmp/.mount_batch*******/usr/bin), but when I try to open several MKV files with BME from BMI shortcut, a new instance is opened for each file. This is obviously not the expected behavior and no longer offers the benefit of being able to process files in batches.

That behavior is by design. BME is not singleton. If you want to have batch processing capability, just drag and drop files to BME directly.
