Buggy Behavior when Capturing Timestamp into Markdown Table

Hello, I have discovered that it is near impossible to capture timestamp command to paste the link or time into the right markdown cell that the cursor currently points to. Instead it jumps the cursor around wildly to seemingly random rows and cells, or it pastes it to the next cell instead, sometimes it pastes down the column sometimes across the row, sometimes it pastes again into the same cell, etc. The only way is to do it is either separately and then paste back in, or to do it all in source mode but with a table full of podnote links, this is impossible to view in source mode due to the sheer clutter of uncollapsed timestamp links.

Sometimes when I press space first and then try the capture timestamp command it works but not reliably.
