ChittyTracker Vision

The Universal Infrastructure Interface

One CLI to rule them all - manage your entire development infrastructure from project tracking to cloud deployments, databases to automation, all through a single, consistent interface.

The Problem

Modern developers juggle dozens of tools:

  • Project Management: Notion, Linear, GitHub Projects, Jira, Asana
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Cloudflare, Vercel, Railway, Netlify, AWS
  • Databases: Neon, Supabase, PlanetScale, PostgreSQL
  • File Storage: Google Drive, S3, Dropbox, OneDrive
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab CI
  • Monitoring: Sentry, Datadog, LogDNA
  • Automation: IFTTT, Zapier, n8n, Apple Shortcuts
  • AI Tools: MCP servers, Claude Code, OpenAI
  • Communication: Slack, Discord, Email

Each has its own:

  • CLI syntax
  • Config format
  • Authentication method
  • Update mechanism
  • Documentation style

Result: Context switching, forgotten commands, scattered configs, manual syncing.

The Solution: ChittyTracker

A unified CLI with:

  • rclone-style config - One interactive menu for all "remotes"
  • Consistent commands - Same patterns across all providers
  • Two-way sync - Keep tools in sync automatically
  • Smart nudges - Shell hooks remind you to update trackers
  • Plugin system - Community extensions for any service
  • MCP server - AI assistants can manage your infrastructure

Core Principles

  1. Consistency - Same command patterns everywhere
  2. Interoperability - Sync between any two services
  3. Simplicity - One config file, one command to learn
  4. Extensibility - Plugin system for unlimited integrations
  5. Intelligence - AI-powered assistance via MCP

Vision Statement

ChittyTracker makes developer infrastructure feel simple again.

Instead of juggling 20 different CLIs, configs, and dashboards, you have one interface that speaks the same language everywhere. Create an issue in Notion, it syncs to GitHub and Linear. Deploy to Cloudflare, it updates your tracker. Ask Claude to check CI status, it queries all your platforms.

One CLI. One config. Everything connected.
