Thanks for your code. I want to update the database according to my demand. Data from NCBI Ref Genome, howerer, it is so big. Would you give me some tips about how to choose the ref and make the database quickly, Looking forward to your reply.

Hi zhouhui, Are you referring to the taxonomy database? I’m not sure how to restrict it to a more limited dataset, but do agree that it has gotten very large and the database is slow to build. Chris
