I have quite strange problem. My android 10 phone won't recognize Canon picture file extensions .cr3 but when renaming file extension to .cr2(old Canon standart) it just works.
So the main problem is - If phone won't recognize .cr3 then I can't import them in Lightroom Mobile or even view in pictures Gallery app.
If this project is still alive? Can there be added feature not just renaming picture file names(leaving original file extensions) but rename file name to date taken and change extension to .cr2?
For past few days i have searching the internet to get some what idea or some app or some codec for Android phone to recognize .cr3 files, but for now only way to fix cr3 is to just rename it to cr2. There is renaming apps that can change cr3 to cr2 but no app offers to do it automatically and I would really like automate this process: rename and change file extension then use Lightroom auto add feature on specific folder so I don't have to do all steps manually.
I would be glad to donate some $ for your troubles and know how.
