Hi,
I thought you might be interested in https://github.com/nikclayton/android-squeezer/blob/develop/buildSrc/src/main/groovy/uk/org/ngo/gradle/WhatsNewPlugin.groovy.
It's an example of using the changelog file to generate
- The "whatsnew" file used by the https://github.com/Triple-T/gradle-play-publisher plugin to publish to the app store.
- The plain text NEWS file that I keep at https://github.com/nikclayton/android-squeezer/blob/develop/NEWS
