  • Is it possible to extend Lüschers formalism such that one can go "full circle" (see Wiki)? **Meaning**: Given an infinite volume continuum Hamiltonian, and the corresponding discretized finite volume Hamiltonian, can one a) compute the phase shifts of the infinite volume continuum Hamiltonian, b) first take the continuum limit of the spectrum and use Lüschers formalism to extract phase shifts, c) first take a "Dispersion Lüscher" formalism to extract discretized phase shifts and take a continuum limit to obtain the continuum phase shifts, such that all results for a), b) and c) agree? It is the goal of this project to determine c) for a separable finite range potential.
