I don't believe we are utilising the 'msize' blocksize optimisation for the 9p mount point yet, as seen here: https://github.com/clearcontainers/hyperstart/pull/25 Check/investigate the performance gains, as per on the hyperstart PR, and add the optimisation as necessary.
