EE 2.9.0 Conflict?

I've updated to EE 2.9.0 and EE_Twitter is outputting errors and not much else. Is it me, or is it 2.9.0? It authenticates successfully but all I get warnings

It very well could be the update to EE 2.9.0. We haven't had the chance to test EE_Twitter on EE 2.9.0 yet.

What version of EE were you using before the update? Were you on EE 2.8 or are you updating from earlier than that? What version of PHP are you on?

Unfortunately, I won't have a chance to look at this for a couple of weeks. But if you want to look into this, or even fix it and submit a pull request, that would be awesome. Otherwise, I do hope to get around to this eventually.

It seems Twitter::_fetch isn't returning any data. One of the big things that changed from 2.7 to 2.8 is that EE_Twitter is using ExpressionEngine's new cache, so that could be the issue. But if it was working on 2.8 for you, then it might be something else.

Maybe it's the way conditionals are parsed in EE 2.9.0?

I should note that I tested the module on separate servers, though they are both on shared hosting provided by the same EE-specialised host. I was also using the same API key on both sites.

I don't think I can offer much help, unfortunately. I'm relatively new to EE and the Twitter API. Your module seems like the best (free) Twitter add-on out there, so I hope you can fix this issue before I need to integrate Twitter functionality again!

I just tested on EE2.9.0 and PHP 5.4.3, and it seems to work fine for me, so I don't know what the issue is.
