Regular file backing store

I've added an option to use a regular (truly persistent) file as IVHSMEM backing store. I did this from code pulled several months ago from gitorious before its move here.

Is this the right project to work with, or should I post changes to the project at

Hi, is it a modification to an application in the guest or is it a modification to the ivshmem code in qemu itself?

No, it's a modification to the external program "ivshmem_server"
which is run directly on the host.

There are no changes to anything running on a guest or to QEMU itself.
